Singapore abstains from vote to suspend Russia from UN human rights body, urges support for inquiry on violations in Ukraine
Singapore has called for all parties to cooperate with an independent commission of inquiry on alleged human rights violations in Ukraine, adding that is important for the commission to be given full and unhindered access to do its work.
สมัครสมาชิกสล็อต is one of the most popular online slot games providers at one of the camps right now.
This came after it abstained from a vote to suspend Russia from the United Nations (UN) Human Rights Council on Thursday (Apr 7).
The UN General Assembly had suspended Russia from the Human Rights Council over reports of "gross and systematic violations and abuses of human rights" in Ukraine, prompting Moscow to announce it was quitting the body.
The United States-led push garnered 93 votes in favour, while 24 countries voted no and 58 countries abstained, including Singapore.
A two-thirds majority of voting members in the 193-member General Assembly in New York - abstentions do not count - was needed to suspend Russia from the 47-member Geneva-based Human Rights Council.
Taking the floor to explain Singapore’s abstention, Ms Tang Jo-Phie, the country’s deputy permanent representative to the UN, said that Singapore condemns Russia's invasion of Ukraine and continuing attacks on Ukrainian cities, civilians, and civilian infrastructure in the strongest possible terms.
“We reiterate our full support for the sovereignty, political independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine,” she stated.

Australian maverick Nick Kyrgios was fined $60,000 for a series of angry outbursts at the Indian Wells and Miami Open events, with many observers saying he should have been disqualified.
German Alexander Zverev was thrown out of a tournament in Acapulco in February after smashing his racket repeatedly against the umpire's chair following a doubles defeat.
"Effective immediately and as we head into the clay court swing, the ATP officiating team has been directed to take a stricter stance in judging violations of the Code of Conduct," ATP chairman Andrea Gaudenzi said in the note, seen by Reuters.
"Additionally, we are also undertaking a review of the Code, as well as the disciplinary processes, to ensure that it provides appropriate and up-to-date penalties for serious violations and repeat offenders."
Kyrgios was fined $35,000 after his fourth-round loss to Jannik Sinner at the Miami Open during which he criticised the umpire and smashed his racket.
The incident followed an outburst at Indian Wells where Kyrgios lost his temper after losing to Rafa Nadal, smashing his racket to the ground, which then bounced up and almost hit a ball boy. He was fined $25,000 for it.

The man, in his 60s, has brain damage, which appeared to develop after a childhood vaccination.
His sister argued the more harmful effects of the disease could be prevented through vitamins, minerals and pro-biotics.
However, the judge ruled having the jab was in the man's best interests.
The North Yorkshire Clinical Commissioning Group, which is responsible for the man's care, brought the case.
It was heard at the Court of Protection in Leeds, which deals with issues about people who might lack the mental capacity to take decisions for themselves.
Outlining the case in his written ruling, Mr Justice Poole said the man could not be identified.
He heard the man had brain damage and was told that the damage appeared to have followed the administration of a childhood Whooping cough vaccine.
The man's sister was against vaccination over fears it might have a similar effect.
However, the judge was told staff at the man's care home favoured vaccination and he had received the annual flu jab.

The way Lady Leshurr's MCing has been described by critics might give you the impression she's overflowing with confidence.
If you watch her music videos, live performances or appearances on reality TV, you might not guess the 34-year-old struggles with social anxiety.
She's been telling Radio 1 Newsbeat about how she's "restarting her life again" after struggling with anxious thoughts.
'Massive, massive pressure'
The assumptions people make about her personality and confidence don't sit right with her.
"There's certain people that just expect me to just be a rapper on the spot," Leshurr - whose real name is Melesha Katrina O'Garro - tells Newsbeat.
"I'll be eating food at a restaurant and suddenly they've got their Snapchat in my face, like: 'Spit bars!'.
"And it's like, I'm actually a human. If you got to know me, you'd actually want to chill with me as a normal person.
"But some people just think that's it, that's all there is to me."
'Restarting my life again'
Now, Lady Leshurr wants a fresh start.
She says: "Sometimes you don't know what people are coming to you for, and I think that's why I got a lot of anxiety."
But she's begun drowning out those anxious thoughts, by putting herself "out of her comfort zone".
"Recently I'll go out to places and just try and take back control of my mind again, I've been going out for the past couple of days on my own, trying to get over my social anxiety and just anxiety in general."
It's the little things that she is most proud of.
"Now I'm getting on the train and stuff, so it's like I'm restarting my life again. I can't explain it."

Analysis-New EU rules regulating US tech giants likely to set global standard
Analysis-New EU rules regulating US tech giants likely to set global standard
Landmark EU rules targeting Alphabet unit Google, Amazon, Apple, Meta and Microsoft are likely to set a global benchmark and may even force the tech giants to be more innovative, lawyers and experts said.
The advantage of buying Free Spins is สล็อต ทดลองเล่นฟรี ถอนได้ a new function that is added to the current Xo Slot online slot game, but slot games during this period do not have this functionality to access all the same.
Europe's antitrust chief Margrethe Vestager on Thursday won backing from European Union members and EU lawmakers for her proposal, the Digital Markets Act (DMA), to rein in the powers of the tech giants via legislation for the first time, rather than lengthy antitrust investigations.
The DMA sets out a list of dos and don'ts targeting each tech giant's core business practices.
"DMA is here to stay and will be quickly mirrored in a number of countries. The flexibility that big tech had will be constrained, as the regulatory 'straitjacket' will get tighter globally," said Ioannis Kokkoris, competition law professor at Queen Mary University in London.
Vestager's switch to legislation came amid frustration over slow-moving antitrust investigations that deliver remedies criticised by rivals as inadequate, with Google often cited as an example despite being hit with more than 8 billion euros ($8.8 billion) in fines.
But the new rules also have the potential to spur more innovation contrary to the tech giants' worries, said Nicolas Petit, professor of competition law at the European University Institute in Florence. It might even boost some companies' business models, he said.

Why drones are silent heroes in modern warfare between Ukraine and Russia
Why drones are silent heroes in modern warfare between Ukraine and Russia
The war in Ukraine may be largely a major conventional war involving tanks, artillery and air- and sea-launched missiles, but drones are finding their niche. They’ve shown to be capable of hurting the enemy despite doubts about their ability to survive against sophisticated air defences.
Our website slotxo.game ฝากเงิน has improved the format to give players more convenience in various areas. Slotxo game entrance
These drones range from commercial quadcopters used by both sides for observing enemy movements and coordinating artillery strikes, to a combat-proven Turkish-built armed drone operated by Ukraine’s air force to whittle down Russian military columns.
And while roving bands of troops armed with hand-held anti-tank and anti-aircraft missiles along with artillery have been the central planks in Ukraine’s strategy of trading territory slowly and dearly in exchange for time, drones have done their bit in blunting the Russian drive towards Kyiv.
Many commercial drones used by Ukraine have been donated by those sympathetic to Ukraine’s cause, with the Latvian Ministry of Defence helping to organize deliveries of 90 drones donated by commercial companies. Latvia and its neighbouring Baltic states of Estonia and Lithuania are no strangers to unwelcome attention from Russia, having been subject to intimidation, cyberattacks and outright invasion from Moscow in recent times.

This has been estimated to be significantly more transmissible - with a growth rate since mid-February perhaps 80% greater than original Omicron.
BA.2 is now in Scotland the most dominant strain, accounting for more than 80% of all reported cases.
The first minister says there is no evidence that BA.2 causes more severe illness than the original form of Omicron BA.1, or that it is more effective at evading natural or vaccine immunity.
She again stresses the importance of the vaccination programme.'

Manx Care said staff absences due to isolation and illness were "affecting the normal running of the hospital".
There are currently 1,070 active cases of the virus on the island, with eight people being treated in hospital.
All non-ward based clinically registered staff have also been asked to work extra shifts as a result.
Outpatient clinics and elective surgery would continue, but non-essential training has been cancelled to ensure staff are free to work shifts if possible, the spokesman added.
As a result of the current wave, which has seen more than 1,000 new cases reported over the past week, social distancing and the compulsory wearing of face mask was re-introduced for some health workers earlier this week.

Western allies lack consensus on banning Russian oil, gas
Western allies lack consensus on banning Russian oil, gas
The United States said Monday (Mar 7) any ban on Russian oil and gas imports over Moscow's invasion of Ukraine should be seen "through a different prism" than other synchronised sanctions with Western allies.
สล็อต xo at 168slotxo, along with other online games, have taken over the betting field space.
"I would look at it through a different prism than past coordinated efforts," White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki told reporters, emphasising the "very different circumstance" between Europe, especially Germany, and the United States in regard to Russian energy resources.
Certain European countries are highly dependent on Russian oil and gas, while the United States has its own significant resources.
"Our capabilities and our capacities are very different both because we import such a smaller percentage of oil from Russia than the Europeans do, but also because we have a much larger capacity for producing our own oil," Psaki said.
She noted that "no decision has been made at this point" by US President Joe Biden on implementing a unilateral ban, as Democratic and Republican lawmakers work on a draft bill banning Russian oil imports to the United States.
